Call out for Baggage artists
Call out process
10 artists will be invited to an audition on 07/06/2022 with £20 travel bursaries available
As part of the audition both dance artists & musicians will be asked to explore improvisation tasks & how they respond
2 dance artists & 1 musician will be selected
Those artists will have 5 dates to meet in the studio and create Baggage
The performance will be at Chester Pride on August 13th 2022
Dancer application
Application criteria:
North West based artist
Identify as LGBTQ+
Available Saturday 13th August 2022 to perform in Chester
Available for creating between May & August 2022 (dates TBC)

Dancers Details:
As part of this project we are looking for dance artists who have experience in contemporary dance styles, including improvisation and contact improvisation.
Decisions will be made based on who works well together in the audition date.
Fee:
6 days work @ £150 (including performance date)
= £900 Total contract

As part of this project, we are looking for an artist who is comfortable performing live with dance artists, who has experience in improvisation.
Decisions will be made based on who works well together in the audition date.
